President Donald Trump, while addressing the UN Security Council, threatened with totally destroying the nation if course continues.
Trump confirmed that careless pursuit of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles poses a threat to the whole world.
“No nation on earth has an interest in seeing this band of criminals arm itself with nuclear weapons and missiles,” Trump said. “The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea.”
The president then used a demeaning nickname to mock Kim Jong Un.
“Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and his regime. The United States is ready, willing, and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary,” he added.
The North Korean envoy to the U.N. reportedly left ahead of Trump’s speech:

Another apparent North Korean official, who was seated behind the envoy, could only listen:
Trump called on the United Nations to band together to isolate North Korea and force the de-nuclearization of the rogue nation.
