Bill Mocks Hillary: ‘It’s About The People, Not About You’

Former President Bill Clinton appeared to take a shot at Hillary while talking with former President George W. Bush in Dallas.

Bill said that the most important message for those who want to run for President in the future is to be humble and realize that it’s about the people, not about you.

Those words clearly are a jab at Hillary whose campaign was all about her.

The Washington Free Beacon reported: David Rubenstein, the moderator and a billionaire financier, asked the 42nd and 43rd commanders-in-chief about the most important quality of someone looking to become president.

“Humility,” Bush said. “I think it’s really important to know what you don’t know and listen to people who do know what you don’t know.”

Clinton agreed with Bush and then added that you have to know why you are running.

“If you want to be president, realize it’s about the people, not about you. And when it’s over—that’s what a lot of these people who are real arrogant in office, they forget. Time passes and it passes more quickly than you know,” Clinton said.

“You want to be able to say people are better off when I quit, kids had a better future, things were coming together. You don’t want to say, ‘God, look at all the people I beat or the people I worked over,’” Clinton said.

Hillary Clinton’s loss in the 2016 presidential election has been attributed by many to her lack of a clear message during the campaign. Mika Brzezinski, MSNBC co-host and Clinton supporter, told Clinton in an interview in January 2016 that she had “trouble understanding Clinton’s message,” according to the Washington Free Beacon.
